Fiorellina ('Little Flower' in Italian) is a 71-year-old street vendor whose cheerful appearance hides a difficult past.
As he pushes his cart along the beach, beloved by children and fellow vendors, the film subtly reveals
the complexities of her life through the world around her.
Project developed during the artistic residency of Documentary Cinema Laguna Film Lab 2024 in Chioggia, Italy.
Curated by ZaLab, Giornate degli Autori and ProLoco di Chioggia, in collaboration with Comune di Chioggia, Fondazione Clodiense, Arsenalia.
Premiered at the 21st edition of Giornate degli Autori (independent sidebar of the Venice Film Festival), in a special event organized in collaboration with SIAE.
